Tontine’s PricingOS statistical engine relies on Bayesian inference — instead of relying on a frequentist calculation, Bayesian inferences do not require a minimum sample size (although it certainly doesn’t hurt to accumulate more traffic for greater certainty). This is the key advantage to using Tontine’s real-time approach versus a more rudimentary longitudinal approach favored by most other CRO software and platforms. Effectively, the longer an A/B test runs, the narrower the margin of error until said test attains a 95% statistical confidence score — although 95% statistical confidence is the default, your Revenue Engineer will be able to adjust this to your preference.
